Superset Leg Workout

When it comes to leg workouts, I like to go all out: I'm talking heavy weights! And nothing has developed my legs better than using barbells. Below is an awesome superset leg workout that hits all parts of the leg and glutes. I do this leg workout once a week every few months, adding a bit more weight each time to gain strength. There are so many leg workouts I have created and performed over the years, but this is always my go-to favorite!

Warm-up 2 rounds
10 Forward arm circles
10 Backward arm circles
25 Jumping jacks
20 Air Squats
10 per leg Front to back leg swings
10 per leg cross-body leg swings
Leg Workout
Warm-up Barbell squats: 15 reps with just the bar
Barbell Squats: 3-4 sets of 12
Superset #1
3-4 sets
Kettlebell or Dumbbell Narrow stance squats: 12 reps
Barbell or Dumbbell Walking lunges: 15 per leg
Superset #2
3-4 sets
Barbell Deadlifts: 12 reps
Leg Extensions: 12-15 reps
Superset #3
3-4 sets
Dumbbell Step-Ups: 12 reps per leg
Hamstring Curls: 12 reps
Standing Dumbbell Calf Raise: 3-4 sets of 15
